We were proud to present a programme of chamber music from England's senior Conservatoire. Quian Wu (Piano), Alexander Sitkovetsky (Violin) and Leonard Elschenbroich (Cello) are the current holders of the Leverhulme Chamber Music Fellowship and previously studied together at the Yehudi Menuhin School. They made their debut at the Southbank Centre in January 2008 and have also performed in Moscow, Hong Kong, Berlin and at the Wigmore Hall..

This "absolutely fantastic trio" played Mendelssohn's Trio No 1 in D minor and Schubert Piano Trio No 2 in E flat major, D.929. It was a rare opportunity to hear the next generation of top artists.
