WEDNESDAY 11 JUNE
ARTS SOCIETY EGERTON LECTURE
Lecturer: Patrick Craig
St Paul’s was deprived of music after the Fire of London in 1666. In 1697 Christopher Wren was able to triumphantly declare ‘RESURGAM’.
The lecturer will look at music from either side of this momentous event and enthral us with music from across the liturgical year.
Patrick Craig is Vicar Choral at St Paul’s. For 20 years he combined this with an international career singing in over 1000 concerts with the world-renowned early music consort The Tallis Singers.
